Hot demand despite price rise for chillies?? RM15 per KG?? YAU MOU GAU....CHOR!!!

KUALA LUMPUR: Consumers may opt for imported vegetables to avoid paying inflated prices for local greens, but there is no substitute for that favourite ingredient in Malaysian food – the red chilli.

Despite the record high of RM15 a kg at the Pudu wet market on Monday, demand for red chillies has not abated.

A customer identified only as Mrs Heng said that red chilli sauce is an essential condiment to go with the Teochew braised duck that she sells.

“I have been looking for red chillies for a few days. It’s so difficult to find them now as supply is low,” said Mrs Heng who bought two 5kg bags of red chillies at RM11.50 a kg yesterday.

RM11.50 a kg is twice the normal price of red chillies but Mrs Heng is not complaining because red chillies are scarce and it is still not as high as RM15 a kg. (Click the title for full news)

RM15 per KG?? Why ppl still keep on buying it!
I would rather stop eating the chilies until the price drops back to RM1.50 per KG.

This is the problem of Malaysian, we never ever complaint and yet still continue buying it. Some ppl think that they are rich enough to pay to it, but they forgot some F**KER will takes it as CHANCE to get easy money.

So, Hei Malaysian please be united to fight with those F**KER if not don't be surprised everything will be more expensive soon.
