Jangan Ketawa actor dies of a stroke

KANGAR: Actor Syeikh Munir Syeikh Mahmud, better known for his character Moon in the hit local TV comedy Jangan Ketawa of the 1990s, died of an apparent stroke yesterday.
Syeikh Munir, 48, from Wangsa Maju in Kuala Lumpur, was staying at his uncle’s house in Mata Ayer near here during the Hari Raya period.
He was watching TV when he fell asleep. When he woke up, he suffered a stroke and died about 11.30am.
